Fitted up another rib, glued and weighted. Glued up and weighted rib just pulled from jig. Ready to order additional tubing
for fuselage from Dillsburg. Will order this week so that it will be back when I return from my Palm Springs business trip.

I was away on business for about a week, in Palm Springs, CA. Planned on doing some spin training but the Santa Anna Winds decided to kick up and I was unable to get
any airtime in. Had some honey-dos to do before starting back on the project. Routed 5 additional nose rib pieces so that I can complete the remaining lower wing ribs.

Marked areas that I couldn't reach with router and cut out excess birch from notches where the 1/4" cap strips go. Not much
but at least I did something today.

Jeez... where does the time go ???
Plan out six months??? I need to just work at it one day at a time.
I now have a 75' x 25' heated area that I can begin work on the fuselage and at the same time start the rebuild of the T-cart.
It's been over a year since I last added or contributed anything to the build of the 'bolt. As always... I'm in and out of the project
but need to devote time to it every day. Another New Years resolution gone sour. Anywho, back at it again. Get the R fuselage started and
at least I can start daydreaming.

Been looking over the plans. Still waiting to get into that large garage so that I can begin work on the fuselage.
Get away from a project for awhile and it takes a few days to get things back to where they were so you can start again.
aka cleaning up the area I was making the ribs. Looking over the plans and seeing what needs to be ordered (am I just
stalling or does everyone go through this. )
Keep Focused
I, ABOVE ALL, want to finish the 'bolt and fly it. I don't want it to be an unfinished project. I've promised myself that. I find myself looking
at other planes to build, but keep coming back to the Skybolt. Other things keep getting in the way and taking up my time. I make decisions
that keep me from working on the plane. blah blah blah.... Beginning to sound like a broken record (for those of you who know what a record is.)
I Need To Keep Focused !

Damn
! Need to look over the Skybolt stuff again to familiarize
myself with it. Where am I at ? What am I doing again
? Oh yeah, building a biplane. Two sets of wings, why'd
I go and do that ? Should have started that Midget Mustang
when I was 14. Might have been done by now. hehe

Went down stairs to start the rib building process again. And.... where the heck did all this stuff come from that is sitting on the work table ? Won't take long to clean up.... yeah right.... 2 1/2 hrs later and it's ready for rib building. Looked to see what ribs were built and how many of them.
Just about 1/2 way done building the bottom wing ribs. Need to cut the nose pieces of the upper wing soes I can begin building those at the same time I'm building the rest of the lower wing ribs. Go a little bit faster. Hmmm... what next ?
- rudder and tail feather tubing needs to be purchased so I can work on that over in the large garage while working on the ribs here.
- Finish the tail feather need to order the tubing for the fuselage
- After building the ribs start on the ailerons.

Last of the LD ribs, stations 68 1/4. 79 1/4, etc. After building the next four ribs I can then begin to put together the lower wings. DAMN ! When you think of it that way I'm moving along pretty goood NOW.
