Cut and weld tabs on metal bushings to keep sleeves in place.

Notched second side of above mentioned tube. Used a 5/8" tube slide into the 3/4" tube so that I could slide the second end in and out as I notched it. Allowed me to turn the tube, after being notched, to align correctly with the first notched side.

Made pattern for first angled down tube - notched and cut to fit.

Re-made the first down tube. A much tighter fit.

Confirmed that the engine ring is still centered, and cut pieces.
Started welding clusters of engine mount. Doing just small 1/4 sections of each tube. Allowing it to cool. Move to the next cluster... trying to keep the ring from moving.
Continue welding of engine mount.
Four more partial welds on the engine mount. Also tacked on the two 45 degree down tubes.

Cut out of .o40 4130, reinforcing strap. Filed and sanded.

Modified both straps while doing the actual welding on of the straps. Will be doing in three pieces instead of one piece.

Made jig (sliding tube with adjustable ends that are notched for each cluster) for vertical cross tubes.
Cut and notched both vertical cross tubes.
Align and tack all four cross tubes. Tacked all four on.
Cut-off and re-tacked the Port cross tube. Started welding them.
Cut out two more reinforcing plates.
Welded for about 1/2 hour, then wanted to flip the fuselage on its back. Frustration in doing that. It's still sitting on its belly after forty-five minutes of trying to flip it.
