For those of you unfamiliar with Yellow Bird. Yellow Bird is one of the unltimate Skybolts that were built. It was built by the late Hal Wallace, previous owner of Steen Aero Lab. Hal crafted Yellow Bird to the highest standards and then hung a massive 300 hp engine on the nose. She's one beautiful bird.

To the best of my knowledge, the shots that have routed ribs are not of Yellow Bird.

On a trip down to Hal Wallace's place in 1994 (Hal owned Steen Aero back in the 1990's.) for a Steen Aero Open House weekend, I took these photos of Yellow Bird before she was covered. They'll come in handy when building the wings and other parts of the bird.
