MORE tools that I've found to be useful
when building my Skybolt.
A Captain Obvious here... the more you get into a project, the build
of your Skybolt, the more you'll realize that it's a lot faster and many times cheaper to buy a specific tool for the job. It's faster and cheaper
because you won't need to remake a botched part over and over, thus saving TIME and MONEY.
Here are a few more tools I've found to be helpful. These may or may not be the tools for you. An item like the wood file and rasp that I mention below
was used instead of routing the finished edges on my ribs.
I'll reapeat it here again.... as with the rest of this site... the list is a work in progress. If you see something missing, let me know what it is and what it would be useful in
doing on the project. Email me at usav8or.
MUCH needed tool for holding all sorts of things. Get it sooner than later.
Various metal and wood drill bits. Don't save money here by getting cheap one.
Useful in trimming ribs.
Useful in cutting those angles on your spars. MANY other uses.
